How does the SMS notification work?
When a lead fills out your form, localbot sends you a text message within seconds. It includes their name, contact details, message, and one-tap links to call or text them back. No app needed.

What does localbot do when I'm too busy to respond?
If you don't respond within a few minutes, localbot texts the lead automatically, asks a few useful follow-up questions, and sends you a summary. You call back knowing exactly what they need.
Can I customize the form?
Yes. You can change the form colors, fields, button text, and add your logo. Everything is configurable from the dashboard without touching code.

How long does setup take?
If you already have a form, setup can start by sending its notification emails to localbot. If you want the localbot form on your site, most installs take about five minutes and we can help.
Do I need a Twilio account?
No. localbot handles all SMS delivery. You don't need Twilio, Zapier, or any other service. It can connect to your current form or provide a localbot form.
Can I keep my existing contact form?
Yes. If you already have a form that works, its notification emails can go to localbot. You can also install the localbot form later as a stronger lead source.
Does it replace my CRM?
No. localbot is the first response after a lead comes in. It notifies you instantly, follows up with the lead, and gathers missing details. Your CRM handles everything after that. They work great together.
Privacy
Is localbot GDPR compliant?
Yes. Data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt), we collect only what's needed to deliver SMS, and we never sell or share lead data. Full details in our privacy policy.
How long do you store lead data?
Lead data is stored as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. You can also delete individual leads from the dashboard at any time.
